HomeBase 3 is compatible with a variety of eufy Security products, including eufyCam models, eufy Battery Doorbells, eufy Sensors, Indoor Cam, Outdoor Cam, and Floodlight Cam 2K Pro. SoloCam and other Floodlight models will be compatible in late August.
You can use any 5V 2.5" storage drive (HDD or SSD) with a SATA interface to expand the storage of HomeBase 3. Note that 12V storage drives are not supported.
Only compatible eufy wired IndoorCam and OutdoorCam connected to Homebase 3 support 24/7 recording. The two USB ports on the back of HomeBase 3 are for charging your camera, using a USB flash drive for video backup, and allowing future function expansions.
If the hard drive is not working, it could be due to slow data reading, incompatible data formats, or the hard drive being too old or overheated. Ensure the hard drive is formatted by HomeBase 3 and wait at least 2 minutes after installation before turning on the device.
